Levi Strauss & Co. has partnered with Schneider Electric to accelerate renewable energy adoption among its suppliers in India through the LEAP (Leveraging Energy Access Pathways) program. This initiative is designed to help Levi’s reduce Scope 3 emissions by supporting suppliers in transitioning to renewable energy sources.
“By extending that experience to their own suppliers through LEAP, Levi’s is building confidence in what’s possible and creating a practical, partnership-driven model that others across the fashion sector, and beyond, can replicate to accelerate decarbonization,” said John Powers, Vice President of Global Cleantech and Renewables at Schneider Electric.
A key component of this partnership is Schneider Electric’s Zeigo Hub, a digital platform that serves as the critical enabler for the program. Zeigo Hub provides Levi’s with the tools to track, manage, and analyze emissions data across its supply chain, enabling more informed decision-making and accountability. By leveraging this software, Levi’s can monitor progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure that its sustainability goals are being met effectively and transparently. This collaboration exemplifies how digital innovation and strategic partnerships can drive meaningful climate action in the garment industry. Read the full article for more details.
